i want to do this again. dedicating this to tem he dies immediately and is an important character because he dies immediately and that is sad i like this character i find it interesting that they are so simple but that is just because they serve a function and arent really supposed to be a character, which is is quite amusing to me because of his role i hope this makes sense. also will have references to spoiler alert for beastststars riz he is probably one of the last properly fleshed out complicated beastars characters and i find the delusion and mania and miserable feelin g :) appealing. it has been a while so i will probably reread arc 2 of beastars to get the titles on point. anyway this first recording session was using radio and guitar pedals, pedals being noise gate (interesting extreme low end lpf effect) bass eq (good frequency range) tube overdrive (good sound :) ) graphic eq (less drastic eq, softer sounds). also used a microphone for feedback and room sound and a feedback patch for the mixer to bring out the sounds i want in the wall as an extra layer. sound wise very simple, one soft bassy track one with a subbier bass and a more active mid range. recorded straight to tape and back into laptop.
