a drone + hnw album that has very positive ratings on the rym, sound is very reverby and has some space electronics like a few other space wall stuff has, the short track lengths works i guess i am not going to write about ever individual track this time, second track timbre good wall i like that one rattly junky, drone on the 5th trak is rllynice it is like brian eno ambient mmmm 6th track dynamic and deep rolling bass endfilth some interesting scraping ugly mostly too thin., description mentions a drum machine? what where is that. 7th track is nice. ok verdict. promising.
junk metal dream :). i am supposed to do an audition soon for something probably important but i am a nervous wreck constantly now so i am going to cancel it, which i guess is a shame but it is definitely for the best. have not been updating this site as much but i have been relistening to a bunch of music i used to like, not very interesting. this is great by the way huge junk metal metal container filth that sounds like constantly overdubbing one loop until it is a big mess the distortion has a rlly nice bass layer roll and there is some cool hard panning stuff going on, constant building of mass very exciting, can focus on the swirling sound, more clarity in the right channel and more ridiculous crunch in the left i do love this pure, feels like it is constantly getting louder but doesnt feel like it is ever not full volume, subtle feedbacks and tones. second track is a bit more creepy fumbling with delay and reverb atmosphere and strange timbre metal scrape and rattle, less interesting ultimately but still quite nice. eventually droning tones mashing synth keys and louder sound a little bizarre strange some lawnmower nois. preferred the first thanks.
i am in some food place they are playing indian vocal music it is quite amusing thete is lyrics on a tv it looks late 2000s ish. this album is good constant shrill feedback and junk violence on first track can hear sharp sound of metal chains and big metal container getting battered, faint vocals sounds desperate. i like to boogie. saw a spotty black and white cat (black spots). thins out towards the end, vocals are more present. second track guitar loop what the fuck, vaguely metal related may be, the electronics noise is actually pretty good although it still feels weird that there are any. the food is good. thuis track is pretty good there is some cool vocals that get introduced later on with rlly tight delay so it sounds like robot hahahahahhahahah awesome it sounds like he is saying oooooooohhhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaaa it fucking rocks ok this is incredible must hear. i do not support.
listened to the nicole 12 / taint collaboration, was pretty good but the porn sample tracks made me feel vile the oriental track was too far i think.
can you dig it. so fucking loud and the hard panning details is exhilarating i could go run a marathon / something else so good oh my super distortion junk metal filth amazing some loops and metal chain and fucking so loud oh my god. intensely psychedelic. stereo repetition like one channel is dragging behind the other. induced a kind of spasm in my right hand, feel out of breath and im fcking halfway through (i am walking up a hill it is not entirely this albums fault). introduces a drone layer and it is one of the best feelings ever i feel like im going to pass out i am going to rip out all of my fcking hair or smthn i want to relisten to this first track another time. feedback section not so shrill but it is good feeling not as fucking exciting as the rest though should have been more shrill thanks. this ff track sounds great tape crunch sound not as ridiculous with the volume but still good a lot mellower but the sound is rlly nice interesting rolling bass textures and scuzz.filth, some very soft. texturally interesting tape noise crunchy study type thing very nice. concrete drag type, entertaining chill. extremely anxious for some reason when i turned this off for like an hour between the two tracks i dont know what happened i feel awful. update a few hours later it still feels like that i need to go home immediately im on my way but bus isnt fuckinf fast enough.
ok i like lain so maybe i will have more to say the first track is quite funny starts with reworking of duvet and a piano track i dont remember into a big clusterfuck and there is some hiss and chirps on top not that amazing to be honest it is quite funny but i appreciate it has some spoken samples eventually and drops stuff out and and and and and and. looping the computer noises for the noise parts is quite cool this is not good i dont think though i dont like being mean but i think other people will like this more, i like the pitch shifting part of the "i am " part of vocals that sounds nice. next track has a nicer sound some electronic whine, phaser loop thing and a nice reverby piano loop, some static textur, sounds like hoovering haha, this track is a lot more cohesive than the first though making me hopeful. third has a little giggle p and a crunchier wall and a slowed down version of a song from the soundtrack, i need to listen to the soundtrack outside of watching it at some point othern than like, just listening to duvet over and over, i remember there was like a 10 min feedback guitar solo thing in the anime that was bizarre. yea i like this one quite a lot it is lovely. 4th track has a nice crinkly wall texture on top of th computer hum, and electronic whirr, fine i guess, the loop is a bit irritating. 5th wall texture is buzzing rattly sound with some foreground clicks pops fumbling low buzz drone and reverbed children's choir esque vocal with subtle phaser. LAST TRACK is more piano loop and nice cinematic drone and rattle static texture warmth very nice, very glad i didnt turn it off after that first track after it mellows out it is nice.
i have for some reason not listened to a lot of this project, i think it is the short track times on most of their stuff i find offputting but i did rlly enjoy the album feather falling supernova. this is themed around madoka magica which i have not seen but to my knowledge it is vry popular very offputting creepy anime whatever my friend likes it i think. sound is rlly nice wall starts thin static and adds a crackle layer on top after, drone elements are lovely loops, maybe from the anime i have not seen i wouldnt know it is nice synth stuff loops, cinematic, quite a lot of change. sound is a little blown out which sounds fine i guess but i would prefer it to not be so messy it is nice though, love the glassy sound i feel INSPIRED oooooooooooooooooo i will listen to more thank you this was nice thanks.
started writing about a hototogisu album but didnt finish the album, has been like that for a few days, i am still listening to a lot of music just not writing a lot.
sudden urge for some reason, wrote about them in discord i guess i will paste here. missing a couple i had already heard.
lamo — Today at 12:25 AM i will listen hnw swift here is opinion s red flowers ugly buzz rlly dogshit reverb comlplete miss mildly interesting. cute look good rolling bass and nice static layer hiss soft and it is rising and falling like phaser. blue shirt red shorts jittery random oscillator vapour esque fizz strange motion i like the punchiness strange. lamo — Today at 12:34 AM bobcut strange oscillation with clawing static and bulging rattle bass. i wasnt expecting them to be good belly button static electricity pop pop pop cut wires and reverb slightly too sharp but fine. the reverb is a littl e iffy. that image is so strange. what do you disagree with. lamo — Today at 12:40 AM golden rigid oscillation metal chains whirring propellor nice sub strange sound STRANGE SOUND very metallic. i wonder what they are using for sound source. the red flower i thought it was no input mixing board. but the rest it sounds like a synth like microbrute maybe. pink new york vile rubber blown out bass and subtle shuffle repeating oscillation very ugly. pony tail electronic drag bass heavy and small blade drag a little ugly rough around edges. red lipstick good top layer sandpaper debris large revving up car engine bass end sheet metal trash. black and gold more debris metal rattle pummel bass end blade against metal sheet drag deep cut ivan. light blue shirt witha blue collar more bass end bulge throb rattle with reverbed high end static motion the reverb is better on this one but the bass end is ugly. smile large cardboard tearing with makeshift blade soft static and deep cavernous bass end. i think this one is my favourite. choppy shoulder length hair strange very loud buzzing bass end (funyn ) and nails clawing against metal sheet so strange sound but sickly. stars in the night sky is nice digital rain it sounds nice and organic the reverb still isnt great but it s fine overall sound is comfy. blonde hair and black lipstick EXTREME BIZARRE OSCILLATION WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK. lace this sounds terrible. like cutting through cardboard in a swimming pool with the worst reverb imaginable and also theres a bass amp in the room with ugly bass sound playing. it is a strange use of phaser though. FRINGE mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm sparse pop pop pop. extreme minimal. made me cold. nyc snow i am so scared it is going to start out of nowhere but it seems like it is just going to be entirely silent. there was a small sine wave at the start i checked. ok it is silent ok. that was fun ssorry if that was all rlly boring.
creepy wall theme i think, possibly worthwile
continued break, listened to cds and stuff, that best of gunslinger r is so much fun.
temporary break from headphones so it was just like acoustic guitar stuff today over speaker.
noise rock is entertaining this is a noise rock sludgy riffs, underpinning wonderful viola is the draw of this, it is definitely my favourite part at least. the bass is tuned down rlly low you can hear the rattle practically. some of the riffs are very meh, should have some guy shouting on top would probably help but it is quite nice, heavyweight. ppl should mix noise rock louder this would really benefit from being very loud because genuinely who cares about clarity with noise rock of this type please just turn everything up max. a lot of this has problem with overextending tracks for no reason when they aren't particularly worth extending. the octaver use is pretty nice for the sound. i will check out more because this wasn't particularly amazing but i liked enough to want MORE. the wah play on the swarm track is awesome.
shut the fuck up and suck my cock yoooou biaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatch!italian pe death industrial whatever by dead body love person (one of the best) with a lot of flange and chorus love with whiny feedback akin to the peter kurten. the lyrics are very cheesy and the vocals are very cheesy wonderful with deadpan akin to the atrax morgue (obvious comparison obviously). the electronics are varying but mostly minimal, his iconic wonderful crunch sound filling the backdrop the bass is gorgeous deep and some electronic whines moans car alarm electronics there is a solo electronics track that is quite entertaining. worth mentioning is the first track before i forget it is so fucking good cheesy, recommended. giuliani9 Jun 2011, 7:55pm I recorded the Supremacy cd under the name Discordance in 1998, but I have nothing to do with the band in the pic and those other cds. There's some mistake here. i got a bit bored after a while sorry, the last track he says kill, kill, kill, kill, kill very scaryaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ok if you like the italian pe death industrials then this is one
it started snowing when i put this on. hiss louder than substance strange looks from strangers head against stone stomped out bathtub suicide some kind of sickness queasy cold intimacy. friend of a friend . exorcism, deep cuts cold sex brain death. passive living depth of water take it easy. absent disconnect enhance paranoia. doesnt feel welcome in own home. intrusive, feels wrong unsafe . compulsive liar, lashing out . k hole apathy/mania cold sex paralysis waist down. could be fun. unjust spite lashing out choking ribbons liquid bile. lack of love marriage of filth hacking up sawdust k hole braindeath . bin bag full of bricks. sickness paranoia manic illness comfort sex cold breath deep cut paranoia k hole illness. closeness. post death optimism blackout k hole brain death slow poison illness bile . well deserved.
acoustic sounds collage wooden creaks and whirring minimal empty atmosphere. have just finished night in the woods for the first time, feels like exactly what i needed right now deeply personal probably very sad bittersweet feeling was not fussed on the supernatural stuff at first but i got there eventually it works thematically. squeaky creaky hinges haha what the fuck am i doing with all of my time i should put something on additional or read something or whatever. sounds like a saxaphone haha and i prefer the wiing sounds the reverb is fine. sheet metal pitter patter rain swounds oooooooooo i love. creepy creaking hinges again. sometimes scarily voice like. the start of the last trak gave me chills wooden hit and reverb. fine background noise i guess. would be good in a vacuum.
creaky wooden timbre branches leaves rustling deep sub expert. second is rougher clawing at concrete wooden bonfire subtle car engine lesser. strong wind blowing against metal girders and chains rattling inside of woodland industrial this last one is my favourite. one of the best hnw projects ever i have nearly heard everything by them maybe one day i will be finished. if you know where to listen to the japanese artwork series please let me know.
no idea what i was expecting from this but that first track made me want to cry.
HELLO
oh my god two drummers one chris corsano one drummer from hair police and mouthus guitarist and synth noise person i have not heard before all having a fight with excellent clarity and panning magic, the two drummers playing different stuff entirely to eachother creates interesting patterns in the brain the guitar is quite good and the synth sounds are quite varied sometimes very interesting the crunch is nice and i love the glassy sounds, mouthus person always has good fuzz this first track felt like it went nowhere without much grace. second track 12/01/23 murkier dirge doom laden more careful structured a bit more still sounds a little empty, the free improv atmosphere i guess, not particularly anything but i like what the guitarist is doing. ths album didnt rlly do much for me sorry but if you are more into free improv maybe you will find it more entertaining i would have appreciated a worse fidelity the chambery sound cuts out the weight
chris corsano drumming on a psych rock album sounded entertaining and it is ben from six organs of admittance WHAT, sir richard bishop too, quite a nice lineup. interest is peaking during the freest tracks, are the most entertaining because i just rlly like the drumming. this album has drum freakouts and regular jams with a bit of ugliness around the edges, the guitar drones accompanying the full on drum freakouts are ugly wailing i am finding the fist family track very entertaining. sarcophagi is very pretty . pink plonk soloing is a little grating. last track is exactly what i wanted strikes a good balance of the styles and there is a piano the drums have a hypnotic swing to them and are so colourful and pretty. underwhelming but the last track is making me want to try out some more. unrelated but i will write it here anyway today i listened to dark sidebof the moon for college and i think it went completely over my head it was just ok i dont understand why everyone thinks it is the best thing ever.
bro........
i was listening to the corpses 1 by dead corpse vomit and wrote a bit but my computer crashed har har, last track was my favourite, some tracks were sleep column esque, very nice and it is like 5 hours. quite nice.
today was quite nice after work went home to get guitar and pedals and sht and recorded super shrill guitar noise with two friends it wss quite nostalgic and the session was rlly intense, ended up finishing quite late, got booze on the way home and some shitty food. listening to this on the bus ride back bubbly timbre bass with layers of rolling wheels against gravel and big sheets of thin plastic, cant hear much sub because i am on the bus the bus makes noise i cant drown out. splashes sloshy water sounds above grinding stone rigid cobble tracing the sides. i am glad he is active again with this project i think this was the one i was most curious about because the stuff i could find to listen to was rlly top notch stff. ok it has ended now i am home and at computer lovely so much chill
first recording takes a while to get there but it is a nice fuzz guitar study drifting forward slowly but it is a good sound the fidelity is quite nice expected for a live recording but it isnt blown out or anything, after around 10 mins it rlly lifts off and has more action with string bends and chanting vocals hammr on action and gorgeous spiral sound not particularly amazing but it is comfy and nice which is good enough i would have loved to have been there it seems quite intense cathartic and then everyone clapped. second recording has gorgeous delay chants and whiny guitar feedback with undercurrent droning pure great feeling great sound """"""down in th """nitty""" and """gritty"""" xx"""" filthy fuck invents more clutter after the shrill introduction the fidelity is.pretty shit quite nice. if you are interested in the electric guitar and its application. some wobbly soloing after the mass is enough quite entertaining some battery happening after a while some wailing feedback more building mass after stripping it back a little pretty much a brick wall of guitar filth nearly constantly quite fine whilw it lasts will not revisit unless i want to hear the whiny intro of the second performance.
needed more, prominent synth drones makes this different same shit fi sound though and squealing kind of flanger vocal and sterile clinical bleak death industrial atmosphere atmosphere atmosphere. intelligent dlway of treating the """space """ of the sound it captures the room hes recording in and creates an intimacy with the dead industrial atmosphere the vocals are so far back it is ridiculous. tractor engine is apt for the synth stuff actually, soft wind whistling with shouty vocals very far beneath. b side starts with a fckingn cool music sample i have heard this song before i dont know where from but it is then followed by deep drone and junk metal fumbling, exploding into powerful scrape and mellowing out into the next track which has different vocal approach and shuffling junk vocals are more prominent, lovely feedback and sound is good tractor synth return. next track is rlly scary vocals and minimal loop this one is my favourite it is very powerful. album is good but nowhere near the alternative eugenics i think, oh well i will listen more soon.
these titles are so good i love .we dont fuck is one of the best titles i have seen for anything. soulseek download is split into a side b side so i dont know what track i am listening to but this sounds so powerful quite trashy noise with some phasing on th sound i think it sounds wonderfully ugly the feedback sounds like a dying pig or flock of birds trapped in a big wooden box the vocals YESSS so aggressive and subtle delay dripping into the noise adding xomplexity crushing weight filth fucking incredible. i assume this is the second track there is junk metal abuse synced with the vocals on top of scribbling drag texture very nasty tunnel junk atmosphere with a tiny porn sample before filling out the space with filthy careful scraping wailing squealing bleak as fuck atmosphere, adds some distorted (is it called combing or phasing? it is a weird little sound) noise very full but still convincingly bleak. looking at the track list for this side and this being the end i am assuming every change is a different track i didnt keep up. b side first track foreplay second track rattling metal inside glass object with noise that sounds like a house falling down third track sample of a guy saying something no idea and then some quite spooky whistling noise with some ridiculous flanger vocals and feedback and another flanger vocal layer sounds like a speech like a rally or smthn incredible bile and filth love the vocal loops and sht this is amazing. last track creeping atmosphere filth with excellent sense of space and an excessive amount of delay and reverb and extreme hostility the overall sound of this track is wonderful. i see why this project is held in such high esteem it is like everything good about the primitive pe , there is a real artistry to this sound and the intensity is addictive i think this is one of the best i have ever heard i am looking forward to hearing more.
first pe album if the year, it sounds wonderful and powerful the electronics are crunchy and the bass throbs are quite powerful sub bass range, poking through high pitch oscillations and audio filth from behind the crunchy noise when it is appropriate VOCALS are super aggressive and the distortion sounds excellent most of the time he is incomprehensible but if you focus you get the general idea, seems like theres some octaver action going on with the vocals maybe that is not true, sounds like he needs a glass of water after that second track wow. i dont feel like i am playing this loud enough but headphones don't go any louder. trying something a little more creepy with the third track before exploding into very powerful quite scary strained vocals but the electronics are basically the same, i wonder if this was all improvised or if he had a lyric sheet or no, sounds very immediate . i think he does. track 5 whoever is on the synth wakes up and makes the sound more explosive and with scraping feedback like a sawblade or something, brings the vocals more clarity, very good. last track also has more movement with the electronics and every track has a great vocal performance this one does too. they would make a great wall album the bass is so deep. entertainment power electronics the length does hinder this a bit but the highlights of this are awesome i will find more.
i will write too muh today maybe i was not expecting this to be that good to be honest which is a little mean but i do like this it starts with a nice distortion sound on a nice dragging shuffle texture with rubbery edges and then becomes high pitched sounds very good feeling. i am not going to write about every part but it follows this kind of active wall structure shifting between various ideas and fiddling with synth noise on top before locking into a wall, very nice entertaining i really like the full on wall stuff the one after around 10 mins that sticks is rlly comfy and good i had a really nice time with this i will probably get back into this huge big discography i have heard some of the drone stuff the long ones they are very nice.
first track very bassy rumbling with extremely sharp high end sizzling and rolling around sounds lovely comfy atmosphere the sizzling is a little too shapr though a little bit ouch but i can get by. second track is shit-fi concrete gravel shuffling expanse with rolling extreme bass end sound is lovely and warm i really like its motion and the fidelity rustling drag earthy atmosphere dirt gravel concrete cobblestone love it. so much new jason i dont think i will be able to get up to date i am trying though
i never have been really interested in sci fi stuff at all but secretum omega has always been probably my favourite jason alias because it seems liek the one he puts the most effort into, this sound is a lot of delay and sci fi sounds very bizarre with some crinkly wall sounds and rubbery bass, very strange sounds and atmosphere. strange bitrate reduction bubbly soudns unique sound, the bass i am genuinely not liking but i like the hi end crinkling texture this is quite entertaining and unique all album i will not write about all of these jason albums just the ones that sound interesting.
nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
starting the year the same way i started last year jason campbell wallmaster obsession bless jason i listened to cytiipo as well it was not that good sorry this one is though this is nice thougha little squeaky but a grinding rigid gravel drag crunch textur quite entertaining some extended squeaky sounds behind it strange?!!?!?! wallmaster! also planning to get through ufo hnw at some point but jason keeps releasing new stuff so when i am up to date i will start. subtle motions appearing pseudo physicality thin texture ok. some slight timbre changes, sharper squeaks introduced. quite mild.
